Clean and comfortable and sink in the room was ideal and shared kitchen very spacious and organised and room to sit and eat food and staff helpful. And quiet 🤫

Grim!!

Generally central location which may suit some but the area is not good.

Dirty room. Obviously wasn’t cleaned properly as previous guests sock still in the room and there was a half empty packet of sweets beside the bed. Noisy people in the corridor could be heard very easily.

Pleasant Surprise

Clean room with ensuite. Location - 2 mins from O'Connell St. Big kitchen. Very good price compared to typical Dublin hotel/hostel prices.

AVOID AT ALL COST : mould on walls, no carpet on the floors, grease all over the floors, room was damp. Staff was aggressive and unhelpful. We didn’t end up staying there and checked in down the street at The Celt. Struggling to get our refund. Bunch of crooks

Very central location. Noisy outside but quieter than I thought inside. The fact that I thought it would be worse than it was ( I took down the barricade behind my door in the morning).

A good place to stay for one night

The location was perfect The bathroom was spotless (I was worried about this one but I guess I got lucky) My room (number 11) was big enough for 1 or 2 people (and considering the other reviews this unfortunately isn't common when it comes to rooms for more people)

Great Find!

Very clean ad friendly staff! GREAT LOCATION

The room that I was has no ventilation and seems like people go out to smoke outside and the door is right behind this room number 11… but once I booked myself to another day… I offer to stay on the same room but the other room that I was given (room 3) was quite better, quite and did came with a ventilator. The property manager was super nice on lend me the special Irish plug adapter to charge my phone and other devices. One again … very clean place and great location! I’m definitely coming back!

Decent for one night, but better communication and safety would improve the experience.

The room was small but comfortable for the price. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean and well organized, which I really appreciated.

I stayed for one night and the location was convenient. My room was right in front of the bathroom, which made things easier. However, I didn’t feel very secure as the door didn’t lock from the outside. Communication was also difficult since the staff didn’t speak English well, and important information like the Wi-Fi and the building access code wasn’t given to me at check-in. I only received the code by chance when I met the receptionist on my way out, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to get back in. Overall, it worked for a short stay, but some improvements in communication and safety would make the experience much better.

Fantastic location. The bed was comfortable. It was fine for one night, but wouldn't recommend staying longer.

No fan available for a very hot room. The only window, a skylight, was covered with a dusty pillowcase. No way to air out the room as the door needed to remain closed for fire purposes. Very narrow and steep stairs to get to the top rooms.

Good kind people but one night was enough.

It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We were thankful that they took us at the last minute as our long standing booking was cancelled on the doorstep. It was basic but ok.

Outside the property large painted letters state ‘bed and breakfast’ but there was no breakfast. The bunk room was very hot and noisy, but it was the last room available. No tea or coffee, no kettle in the room. The women’s shower was so hot I couldn’t bear it. My husband said the make shower was very good.

Very basic and good for those not planning on much sleep!

The staff were very communicative and looked after our bags until check in time. There’s a couple of small supermarkets nearby for snacks.

The room didn’t smell particularly nice so we had to air it out. It’s a busy street so we had to close the window when we were ready to sleep. There’s no free WiFi as advertised. I couldn’t sleep as the doors to the next door rooms (occupied by staff) were banging closed all night with loud conversations outside and on phones. I’m glad we only stayed one night as this would have made any longer trip unbearable and we would have had to look elsewhere. No TV in the room. When you compare it to hotels nearby, it’s only slightly cheaper and breakfast and WiFi is included at other properties.

Modest, close to city center, clean, adequate, loud but otherwise comfortable.

The room and bathroom were clean, towels and sheets fresh and mattress comfortable. The staff member who was to check me in was chatting next door and after I followed him in, he carried my bag to my room.

could only text from any device; I needed to use Zoom, facetime or whatsapp as I did at every other accommodation in the IR and it was unacceptable to be prevented from making business calls when wifi was listed as included. The noise both within the building and outside my window was quite loud until very late. Perhaps this could be disclosed. Earplugs helped. Steep, narrow steps to upper floor.

Adequate for somewhere to sleep, but don't expect much more.

The location was excellent - very central but on a relatively quiet street. The bed was small but comfortable. The shared bathroom was adequate.

The room was cramped and laid out awkwardly, and had no facilities other than bunk bed, basin and a small table (e.g. no bedside light, TV or kettle.) An opening window over the street provided the only ventilation but this could be noisy. The arrival and check-in process seemed rushed and awkward, being partly done in the shop next-door, followed by the host rushing me up the steep stairs to the reception counter and then to my room - it wasn't particularly welcoming. For this level of comfort and service, the price seemed high but I'm aware that Dublin accommodation is at a premium.

Easy, safe and affordable

Near many major attractions.

The location was perfect. I could walk to everything I wanted to go to, even meeting points for day tours I booked and the Dublin express bus to the airport. There were grocery stores, restaurants, convenience stores, pubs and coffee shops nearby also. The manager-owner, Kasim, gave me his phone number so I was available to reach him anytime if I needed anything. He always checked on me to make sure I had what I needed and he lived on the property so he was there whenever I needed. The bathroom was very modern with glass shower and heated towel rack. It was a good price for a stay in Dublin for the St. Patricks Day holiday. Just a bit of info, the convenience store next door is connected and you can check in there and leave your luggage if you get there early before your room is ready.

Fica numa zona muito central. Era sossegado e tinha uma cozinha para uso comum. Estava quente e os duches também eram bons.

Os quantos eatavam muito sujos. O meu quarto cheirava muito a tabaco. Os lençóis estavam muito amarrotado não dá bom aspecto. Uma das pessoas do staff está sempre sentada no corredor a fazer de barreira na passagem é constrangedor.

En kvarts promenad längs Talbot Street som är en liten multinationell gata som börjar utanför Conolly Tågstation som är navet i Irlands järnvägsnät och Dublins pendeltåg Dart. Lika nära åt andra hållet är George Quay och Airport Express busshållplats. Även Book of Kells är på gångavstånd. Frukost ingick inte, men andel i ett välutrustat kök med kyl, frys och tvättmaskiner för dina kläder. Längs Talbot Street finns alla sorters affärer och matställen med autentisk mat från flera världsdelar.

Très mauvais rapport qualité/ prix

Rien concernant le logement, à part la gentillesse du personnel.

J'ai réservé 2 chambres avec lit double et on eu 2 chambres avec lits superposés. 2 salle de bain avec wc à l'intérieur par étage (pour 5 chambres de 2 à 4 personnes), c'est trop peu ! Chambres trop exiguës. La cuisine est trop petite (seulement 4 places assises) pour tout l'établissement ( 3 niveaux) et pas de torchons dans la cuisine. Les murs sont très fins et on entend les voisins. La chaleur est insupportable et impossible d'aérer la nuit à cause du bruit dans la rue. Prix excessif par rapport à l'hôtel dans la même rue.

Pulito e in centro. Anche se la via non bellissima. Al primo piano.

La stanza MOLTO piccola, quasi impossibile muoversi e non c'è spazio per i bagagli. Alcuni ripiani ma troppo in alto, non raggiungibili. Letto soppalcato con una scala verticale e scomoda. Letto a castello troppo basso.

Handige locatie, schone kamer, prima voor deze prijs

De ontvangst was niet heel hartelijk, maar op zich wel in orde. De kamer was klein, er stond eigenlijk te veel in waardoor er weinig loopruimte over bleef. Het is in een winkelstraat dus je hoort wel wat van buiten, maar prima doorheen te slapen.
