A really good option in the city centre

The price and the location make it a really good option for your stay in Dublín, the staff is really polite and welcoming and they help you out with everything needed. They provided a luggage service what is really convenient and the room are Big with views to the Liffey.

The mattress is quite old and make too much noise, the walls are not really well preserve it and the wardrobe was falling apart.

Couldn’t be more central!! Came alone and was nervous on the shared bathroom but it was totally fine. Felt safe there, amazing value for money couldn’t fault it!

Only thing that I wasn’t prepared for was sharing the bathroom, there was no mirror in the room so as a girl I struggled to do tan without a mirror as the bathroom mirrors had no privacy. So for women bare in mind to arrive ready or bring your own mirror for getting ready etc in your room

We were unable to sleep because of aggressive guests and were later misled by false refund promises.

Location

In December we stayed at the Eden Quay property, and throughout the entire night we were unable to sleep because of guests from the room next to ours. There were approximately six drunk adult men who were shouting, laughing, running around the property, and behaving in a very rude and inappropriate manner. They left the bathroom extremely dirty, frightened us, and made us feel very uncomfortable. We politely asked them several times to calm down, but they refused to listen. The disturbance lasted until the early hours of the morning, so we did not get any sleep at all. There was no staff present at the object who could help us or even notice that a serious disturbance and disorder were taking place in the property. We contacted the property via messages, but they only called us the next morning to ask what had happened. They promised us a refund, which, despite us reminding them that we had not received it, has still not been paid to this day. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we have a very low rating for this property and we do not recommend staying here under any circumstances. We are left with very, very bad memories.

Great location not far to walk to temple bar. Toilets and showers were really clean. Luggage room available and the use of codes to get in instead of room keys meant everyone had the freedom to go back when they wanted.

Stairwell and room need painting but other than that everything was great.

Great location, professional service

When I booked this place, I couldn’t believe such a great balance of price and location was possible in Dublin. After arriving, I was amazed by the friendliness and high professionalism of the hotel staff. They always responded to my messages instantly, allowed us to leave our luggage long before check-in, and even found a charger adapter for us. This level of service truly exceeds all expectations. The location is as central and convenient as it gets for exploring the city. The room had a clean, comfortable bed, and the shared bathrooms were also spotless and in excellent condition. Thank you to this wonderful hotel - we’ll definitely come back!

Amazing. Worth the money.

Everything. The rooms were clean and perfect for my group of 3, not to mention affordable. The bathroom facilities were also always clean, despite people constantly moving through it. That’s something I found very admirable. The location was extremely convenient and offered a beautiful view of the Liffey. As for the staff, James and Aidan were the absolute best! When our booking fell through at another property, they came in and saved the day (and, as an extension, our trip)! They were extremely accommodating and great at communicating with their guests! Would recommend Eden Quay Guesthouse 10x over!

Value priced and suitable for a quick overnight airport stay.

The location was excellent for some theaters and to catch the express airport bus. The newer bathrooms on the ground floor were well-equipped, clean and appeared recently remodeled. The staff was very responsive to my email communications during the stay.

While not unclean, the whole place could use a coat of paint and some old carpet replaced with hard wood or other material. There was no signage on the outside and the entry appeared a bit seedy. In the room, there are no allowances for luggage placement except the floor or on the bed. No microwave in the shared kitchen

Owner is an excellent communicator, rooms and facilities are spotless, terrific location.

Self check-in, but the owner is very communicative and provides excellent instruction on how to gain entry, and is also proactive with other information, such as where parking is available. The room was clean and comfortable, and there are ample spotless shared bathroom and washing facilities. The location is excellent, being right on the waterfront overlooking the River Liffey and in the heart of shopping, restaurants, pubs, and buses.

Not criticisms, as these are not within the control of the owner, a couple of things to be aware of are: there is staircase access only from the street level, which may be a bit of a challenge for those with mobility issues; we parked at Q-Park The Spire, which was good in that it is only about a ten minute walk away, but did cost us €43 to park from around 3 pm to 7 am the following morning.

Don’t recommend

First off, the staff that checked me in were super nice and helpful and seemed like cool guys. However, This really is a pretty run down property so as long as you aren’t paying much for it then it’s fine. I personally was going to move hotels in the middle of the night because I didn’t feel safe. The building smells, the carpets are stained, the showers are pretty awful (think shitty hostel vibes), people were smoking inside (I messaged about it at when it happened and no one responded), as a female I was wondering how safe it was because it was pretty desolate, the towels are really old, you have a key pad on the door and a key lock but when u r in the room there is no way of stopping someone getting in with a latch etc. I think it would have been cleaner and safer for me to stay in a well run hostel staying in a shared room than this old desolate school house. And yes the bus is right out the front - but it’s also a pretty shitty part of the street so it doesn’t really feel safe. If u are an 18 year old guy this place is fine. As a single female, don’t recommend

We like the place cause it is near to everything (shopping centers, Pubs, Restaurants, tourist sports, Bus stops, etc) and the cleanliness of the place and as well as the view of the river.

Maybe need some improvement for the Pillows cause they are too flat and as well as the luggage area ( Would be nice to have a Lockers with keys or codes for security purposes of the individual belongings) and would be nice if there is a Microwave in the Kitchen itself.

it was my first time using a systen wherby a code is sent to enter the property and another code to get in the room, i didnt realise this was how it worked and when i got there i didnt have the codes and had to do a bit of phoning around to get the information, probably most people wouldnt have had this problem , i on the other hand didnt have a clue what i was doing.

Horrible. Wasn’t clean at all. Carpets, fixture and fittings very questionable. Door to room is not secure, Yale lock with screws hanging out. Interior disgusting with patch worked carpets that look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. Disgusting. RECOMMEND AVOIDING AT ALL COSTS

A value for money hostel in a great location with responsive and helpful hosts. We will be back.

Location is brilliant. The hosts were very helpful. They allowed us to bring our bags in early before check in and leave them after check out. They let us check out at 12.30pm which was very much appreciated.

Cold shower. Unfortunately the shower was cold due to the amount of folk staying in the hostel.
