The Melina - Pool & Skyview Bar 5min to Beach

Diseño

La ubicación pésima, es engañosa la ubicación en booking dice que está adentro de aldea zama y está afuera en una calle espantosa llena de pozos. Sin camioneta imposible acceder. Calle muy peligrosa y lejos de la playa.

The pools were really nice and relaxing - the location was nice

Lush apartment complex with nice pools and gardens.

The location is not close enough to downtown or to the beach to be able to walk. You need either a vehicle or to rent an ATV or a bike. The roads are not paved and in poor condition so be mindful of that if you choose to ride a bike. We got an ATV for the duration of our stay and were able to get to downtown or the beach in about 10 minutes. The problems we encountered were all with the owner of our rental unit. She was very responsive during the booking process but once we got there and ran into some issues she basically completely ignored us and stopped responding to our messages. Upon arrival we realized that the place hadn't been fully cleaned: hair in the shower, very dirty floors throughout. Then we noticed that the safe didn't work. She had also messaged us to let us know that the TV remote was missing and she didn't know if she could send us another one on time ( not a big deal, we weren't there to watch TV anyway) but the most frustrating part was when we realized our cooktop didn't work either. We had already gone to the supermarket to get groceries which we now couldn't use except for a few items we heated up in the microwave. That is when she stopped responding to our request for help with the issue and ignored us for the rest of our stay. I wouldn't recommend booking this unit as its owner is not reliable.
