Tamarisk is a light, and bright coastal cottage, in the picturesque village of Moelfre, offering an idyllic escape with views of the nearby sea and Lligwy Beach. Perfectly set up for families, Tamarisk features a spacious king-size bedroom and a triple bunk bedroom.
Step inside, and you'll be greeted by a spacious and inviting layout. The open-plan conservatory dining area, bathed in natural light, serves as the heart of the home. Here, you can gather for family meals, relax with a good book, or catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen ensures cooking is a breeze, whether you're whipping up breakfast or preparing a feast. The kitchen also includes an air fryer for quick and convenient meals.
Sleeping up to five guests, the property features a king-size bedroom and a generously sized triple bunk room, perfect for adults or children alike. The modern family bathroom, complete with a bath and shower over, offers the ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring.
Off-road parking is available for up to three cars, and the secure lockable garage is a great storage solution for bikes, canoes, and outdoor gear. Guests also have access to the fridge freezer in the garage, providing additional storage for food and drinks.
The fully enclosed garden is a true gem. With a patio and a multi-level decked area, it's a safe haven for little ones and pets to play freely. The garden is also a sun trap, making it the perfect spot to relax, soak up the coastal air, and enjoy outdoor dining. Fire up the chiminea BBQ for a memorable outdoor cooking experience. The Neighborhood:
Moelfre (said: MOIL-vreh) is a maritime village on Anglesey's east coast, rich in seafaring history. Must-sees include the active RNLI Moelfre Lifeboat Station, the Dic Evans statue honouring the village's legendary coxswain, and Traeth Lligwy, a wide sandy beach a scenic 2-mile coastal walk away.
The village itself has a lovely bay, a pebble beach, and little cafés like Ann's Pantry for something to eat between walks. The sheltered bay is good for fishing, dolphin watching and water sports, and the Anglesey Coastal Path runs right through for walking or cycling.
History lovers should stop at the Seawatch Centre or the ancient Lligwy Burial Chamber nearby. With sea-view dining and proper coastal scenery, Moelfre is a lovely, low-key retreat.
Getting Around:
Parking is available at the property. There’s a local bus service, but a car offers the most flexibility for exploring beaches and coastal paths nearby.

Another great visit to this lovely bungalow. We absolutely love staying here. Beautiful sea views, great location for coastal walks. The property is of a very high standard equipped with everything you need. We took advantage of the 10% discount if you book again while still there. Can’t wait for our next holiday in the beautiful Moelfre. Even our little dog loves her holidays at Tamarisk.

We were so impressed with Tamarisk. By far the cleanest place we have ever stayed, perfect location, a real home from home feel with comfortable beds, a welcome hamper and plenty of space for the family including the dog! The garden is nice and well kept, including a bbq and sea views. The location is amazing to explore Moelfre, with coastal walks, the lifeguard centre, a local pub and cafe on the corner. The views of the bay are beautiful and the locals were very welcoming on our morning dog walks. We can’t wait to go back!

This was our second visit to Tamerisk.The accommodation is fabulous, a sea view front & back & a beautiful garden to sit in. The perfect location tucked away in a very peaceful location & coastal walks straight from the door !! Can’t wait to go back.

Another great stay in this excellent property. As many reviews state perfect location and very clean and warm. Not sure whether logs are now included? Previously we’ve had an initial load plus kindling. All the radiators were off on arrival so the property was very cold. It only takes a few hours to warm up so not a problem, we went for an amazing cliff top walk in the meantime. We will be booking again.
