Apartment in Princeville, HI

About this apartment rental
Price just reduced today 11.26.25. You should find this to be the best price for Hanalei Bay Resort (HBR) this Christmas. I had 4 HBR holiday weeks to rent and the other 3 weeks have already been rented. My goal is to have not have this condo go unrented. Stay all 7 nights (Sat to Sat) for the best cost per night. Condo 8323 has been reserved for this week, a 3rd floor condo with AWESOME views. The resort has a private paved path down to Puu Poa beach, the same beach used by 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay.
If you are looking to stay at a place in Princeville that offers amazing views of the ocean and mountains, has less than a 8 minute walk on a private resort path to the beach, a beautiful lagoon style pool and hot tub, 2 restaurants on property, then Hanalei Bay Resort may be exactly what you are looking for. The 22 acre property overlooks Hanalei Bay and the emerald mountains.
The space
The 22 acre property overlooks Hanalei Bay and the emerald mountains. The condo's lanai is approximately 200 sq ft, and the interior + lanai area totals 1660 sq ft of of space for you to enjoy. The resort pool and hot tub is open 9am to 10pm. Six new pickleball courts were just added in 2024, and there are 6 tennis courts. There is a fully equipped gym available to use 24 x 7.
Local Beaches near Hanalei Bay Resort -----------
Puu Poa Beach and Hideaway Beach are both a short walk from your condo. Although they are public beaches, they feel semi-private because there is no public parking area at Puu Poa Beach, and only 10 public parking spaces at Hideaway Beach. The private path on Hanalei Bay Resort property takes you down to Puu Poa Beach, and the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay property is on Puu Poa Beach. Those staying at either of these locations have an easy walk down to the beach. With the 1 Hotel Hanalei being your ‘neighbor” at the beach it provides a beach side restaurant option – the Sandbox restaurant is located at the ocean level next to Puu Poa beach, which is one of several restaurant options offered at the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay.
Anini Beach and Hanalei Beach are both a short drive from the resort and both have public parking. Ha’ena and Tunnels Beach are also a popular beaches to visit. There are public parking spaces at Ha’ena, however they do seem to fill up fast (going early helps). If you plan to visit Ha’ena State park where Ke’e Beach and the Kalalau trail are located you do need a reservation, which needs to be made 30 days in advance. For reservation information see the State Park reservation information at gohanea (just search online).
My wife and I have become timeshare week owners at this resort in the past few years. This is an awesome place to stay. If you have questions please message me. We stayed in this condo October this year (2025) and the photos that indicate they are a view of condo 8323 were just taken this October. If you have any questions about the resort don't hesitate to contact me.
All the timeshare condos have the same furniture and layout, and are decorated the same. Some of the photos shown are of different condo units just to show as much detail as possible about the resort. Each condo building is either 2 or 3 stories. Condo 8323 is a 3rd floor condo with amazing views (the first photo you see in this listing was taken from the lanai in this condo). Please note - there are no elevators, so if you have mobility issues please contact me to discuss. With advance notice I can work to try and arrange a first floor condo in place of this condo if needed.
With this rental
-- no daily resort fees
-- no parking fee (for one vehicle)
-- no cleaning fee
How much are you saving by not paying a daily resort fee and daily parking fee? For a 7 night stay when you add the cost of both of these fees with tax included that amount is approximately $370. Hanalei Bay Resort has sixteen condominium buildings that are a mixture of timeshare ownership and whole ownership. Timeshare owners are not required to pay a daily resort fee or a daily parking fee, and there is an onsite housekeeping staff that professionally cleans the condo before your arrival.
Other things to note
Important note on taxes and fees
There are no daily resort fees, however the resort does charge a one time fee of approximately $55 (tax included) when you check in. The state of Hawaii charges a daily tax of approximately $26 per day that the resort will collect when you check in. Parking for one vehicle is free, there would be a daily parking fee if you have a second vehicle. The maximum occupancy of the condo is eight, and there is no extra per person charge.
Third floor condo 8323 has been reserved for this week. As I have indicated condo buildings do not have elevators, so if there any mobility issues and stairs to a 3rd floor condo would be a problem please message me so we can discuss this. If needed, I can likely get you a first floor condo if needed, however I would need to confirm things with you to make this type of change.
