The Beacon - Spacious Studio 107

Clear instructions were made for the stay and the door code made easy access. Accommodation was in a good location, an easy walk into town. There was excellent communication from the host and they accommodated me checking in a couple of hours early, which I appreciate.

Advertised as "spacious apartment with balcony". It is really just a hotel room with a nespresso machine, fridge, toaster and microwave with separate bathroom. An honest title would be "Hotel room with toaster and microwave". Balcony was maybe 40cm wide and 1.5m long and looked directly at a concrete wall. Technically it does have a balcony but I literally laughed and sent photos to my friends when I saw it. I wasn't sitting around hanging out in my room much so it didn't matter that you couldn't sit on the balcony. You literally could not fit a chair. One of the windows would not close fully so was always open about about 3mm so let in road noise and a bit of a draft, but the aircon unit could overcome this. Maybe I'm more a fan of honest descriptions and reviews, so here it is.
