About this house rental
This recently renovated single family canal home is located just minutes from Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island. Located on a deep water canal just off the Caloosahatchee River in Iona, this open floor plan home has a custom heated pool and a large boat dock, Bring your boat and tie up at the pier! Plenty of room to park your boat trailer in the driveway. Fish right off the pier! Large yard with 200' of sea wall and wonderful tropical views. 2 kayaks are available at the property, a 14' Perception and a 13' Ocean sit on top. The night fishing light at the dock is really fun for attracting fish and sea creatures.
Inside, the house has an elegant feel with beautiful tile floors throughout. The custom Italian-sourced kitchen is spacious with bar seating for 5 at the counter . Kitchen has stainless KitchenAid appliances and a separate beverage refrigerator near the pantry. The kitchen sink has a separate Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filter system and faucet for drinking water and cooking.
The living area has dual recliners, side seating, and a 75" Samsung smart TV with Comcast Xfinity. A separate dining table seats 6. This home has two bedrooms. The master has a king bed, a 65" smart TV, and an ensuite bath with walk-in closet, while the guest room has a queen bed and shared bathroom with glass shower. A separate den is currently configured as an office workspace. 16-ft sliders open completely to the lanai making the screened pool enclosure. feel like another room of the house. Separate laundry room has both a washer and dryer. Large fenced yard with corn hole setup. House has a large driveway for parking up to 4 vehicles with room to store your boat trailer.
Pool is heated and locked in at a max of 84 degrees during the winter months.
For boaters: Just a 10 minute boat ride to the Gulf of Mexico! There are numerous Lee County boat launch ramps nearby to launch your boat then bring it to the property's spacious dock.

We were new to VRBO and had no idea what to expect. We had an awesome experience. Would highly recommend this property to anyone! Owner was extremely easy to communicate with and the property was just as described. Basically awesome.

Excellent house - open, airy, clean. Loved the big sliding door connection to screened pool and patio area. Everything was as listed and Chris was responsive at every turn. Convenient to all that we needed. Neighborhood is great. We’ll stay here again.

My wife and I stayed for the month of March 2025. We found the home to be clean, modern and well appointed. The poo/lanai area is perfect for relaxing outdoors.Many good restaurants/bars from basic to fine dining within a two miles. Walmart, Target, Walgreens and Publix grocery about the same distance. It's a short drive to Fort Myers Beach or Sannibel island.You'll find Chris your host to be friendly and accommodating.We didn't hesitate to book for next year already.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home on the canal that takes you to the intercoastal waterways. Relaxing, comfortable with everything you need for your stay. We brought our boat and was able to dock at the property for some boating and fishing adventures. Highly recommend and the Host's were great.
