Apartment is located at very convenient place, close to the the city centre and also to the public transport. Apartment looks rennovated and in very good condition. The furniture, washing machine, dishwasher everything works just fine. All-in-all apartment is a very good choice for a short, but also for a bit longer stay at Trieste!

The need to go to another place before accessing the premises is a bit unfortunate, but definitely doable. I was a bit surprised that in the apartment there was no things such salt and peper, but also for example not a single roll of toiler paper - but again, everything manageable. Adding mosquito nets would be nice improvement for the future. Anyway I definitely recommend!

Die Kaffeemaschine war nur mit den Espresso-Kapseln genau einer Firma kompatibel ;)

The apartment is modern and generally comfortable. Lots of natural light during the day. The area is very quiet at night but only a short walk from cafes and bus stops to connect to the rest of the city. Modern and safe building with quiet neighbours. Washing machine is incredibly quiet. Shower has good pressure and temperature.

The photos are deceptive, it’s a very small space with too much furniture that you can’t easily move around, and there is no space in the kitchen/living area to put your things. The drawers in the living room are filled with the owners things including religious artworks and many many product manuals. The coffee machine is there but they do not provide any coffee pods and none of the pods in the local supermarket are the correct ones, so you will not be able to make any coffee. There are plenty of dishes etc but leaves no cupboard space for storing any food. In the bedroom there is a nice big wardrobe but two of the drawers are blocked closed by the sliding door. If you use the washing machine, there is no convenient place/space to set up the clothes dryer. It’s not possible to make the bedroom dark at night as there is a street light shining right into the room and the curtains are not enough to block it. You will need an eye mask if you can only sleep in the dark. There is a very cold draught coming under the bottom of the entrance door, this could be easily resolved with a piece of rubber tape to cover the gap. Although there is a lift, there are about 8 or 10 stairs to get to the lift, which is not ideal with a pram or stroller. I found the tone of messages from the reception staff quite aggressive and at times very rude. Perhaps something was lost in translation but they are not friendly in general, and are announcing possible extra charges for absolutely everything you can think of so be careful.
