OK if you use 2 bedrooms, unacceptable as a 3 bedroom apartment

The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, 10 mins waling distance to the center. Two bedrooms on the 1st floor are comfortable, 4 people can use them conveniently. The owners were helpful when we locked our keys in the room.

The third bedroom, though, is located in the basement and smells musty, which is also probably harmful for health. Collection of the keys: I have tried contacting the owners 2 days prior to the arrival, 1 day prior to the arrival and on the arrival day - multiple times - but without any answer. I wanted to make sure, the keys could be collected from the locker in case I do not make it before 10pm (I was driving 800 kms to get there). As the result, the drive was stressful, but I managed to get there on time.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, 10 min Fußweg in die Innenstadt. Die zwei Schlafräume im Obergeschoss waren ok. Gastgeber waren bei Problemen sofort erreichbar und hilfsbereit.

-Es gibt leider keinen Parkplatz am Haus, man muss sich in der Straße einen Parkplatz suchen. - das dritte Schlafzimmer ist im Keller, sehr niedrige Deckenhöhe, muffig und feucht, kein WC im Bad (wenn man es Badezimmer nennen kann), das Kondenzwasser tropfte von den offenen Leitungen an der Decke. Es gibt kein WC, dass muss im EG (Gäste-WC) benutzt werden. Unserer Meinung nach ist es kein nutzbarer und zulässiger Wohnraum. - die Küchenausstattung ließ zu wünschen übrig. Bei 6 möglichen Personen nur 4 unterschiedliche Wein- und Schnapsgläser, keine Bier- oder Sektgläser. Unterschiedliches Besteck und Geschirr. Die Spülmaschine war eine Katastrophe. - es gibt einen schönen Kachelofen im Wohnzimmer, leider konnten wir ihn nicht nutzen ,da es keine Anleitung dafür gab. - überall gibt es kleine oder größere Baustellen, die Wohnung ist auf jeden Fall renovierungsbedürftig.

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, Lage ruhig und doch recht zentral

Es gab alles, was nötig war, gemütliches kleines Häuschen mit eigener Terrasse, Lage fußläufig ins Zentrum und zum Riesser See, Parken in der Straße problemlos möglich, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter,

Ein paar kleine Reparaturarbeiten könnten gemacht werden.

Küchenausstattung mangelhaft. Vieles in der Wohnung kaputt oder ohne Funktion. Sauberkeit ist auch ausbaubar.

Für uns war es okay, weil wir relativ anspruchslos sind.

Es war viel Platz. Die Schlüsselübergabe war mit Code sehr unkompliziert.

Das Bild vermittelt einen nicht ganz richtigen Eindruck von der Terrasse. Es gibt zwei Wohnungen und unsere Terrasse war gleich neben den Fenstern der Nachbarwohnung mit Zäunen. Der Standard (außer Küche und Elternschlafzimmer) entspricht nicht mehr der Zeit. Toilette im Hauptbad sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Stockbett etwas durchgelegen. Dunkle Möbel im Wohnzimmer.
