Perfect place to stay - Well equipped, spotless and dog friendly.

The property was beautifully presented with some many personal touches that made us feel welcome. The house was spacious, clean and well equipped. It was dog friendly with a nice garden space and easy parking on the steet outside. We couldn't fault it. The host was welcoming and on hand if we needed everything, giving clear, timely instructions.

Wonderful Christmas and New Year stay!

Lovely property in a quaint little village but within easy reach of the coast. Bed really comfortable, everything you could possibly think you need is there. Old dairy cafe literally a five minute walk they are licensed too if fancy a tipple, and there is a pub which does basic food within 15 walking distance. Dan leaves a welcome snack along with milk, tea coffee and loo roll, kitchen towel washing up liquid and toiletries... basically everything! Cute little touch is the Polaroid camera to take a pic which he adds to the 'hall of fame' on the wall. Our dog didn't want to leave, there is a small but perfectly formed fully enclosed garden out back with seating and barbecue. We made some special memories here, and felt happy warm and safe as soon as we entered the property!.

Don't hesitate..if you are looking at the property.. Book it!!!!

Exceptional cottage

Very warm, cosy and welcoming as soon as you step through the door. There is everything that you could possibly want and more. Exceptional attention to detail in all rooms and everything is top quality. The bed is so comfy and bedrooms are a good size, both with spacious en suites. A fabulous place to stay.

It's super clean with everything you will need in the kitchen......a lovely setting with a local village near by .....we parked outside the property without any problems

Comfortable and well equipped cottage

The location was perfect for us. The cottage was clean, spacious and comfortable. Dan goes to a lot of trouble to make the place welcoming. Plenty of wardrobe space (including lots of hangers), large fluffy towels, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful shower.

A quiet cottage

Though we did not meet the host they had left so many friendly touches it made us feel more than welcome in the cottage. From the drinks in the fridge to the waffles and blueberries left for breakfast there were plenty of examples. The whole place was tastefully decorated and felt warm. The kitchen was kitted out with everything we needed with modern appliances which were all easy to use. There was abundant tea and coffee for use with fresh milk in the fridge for us. The two bathrooms had lotions and potions with towels for use. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms very quiet. To the front across the road was a field so no noise from there except an occasional braying from the donkey. At the back was a shaded, comfortable seating area with BBQ for use. Amongst the information booklet there were recommendations for local restaurants / pubs to eat and we chose the White Hart in nearby Martock. Very nice. We were on our way to an event so did not stay here long enough but this house is certainly one of the best we have stayed at and when we want to explore Somerset, in future, we will use this as a base.

Wonderful place in a quiet village

The cottage is in first rate condition, spacious, beautifully prepared and equipped with very good quality items. Lots of helpful tips and generous provisions too. Dan was highly responsive and friendly as the owner, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay at a very fair price.

Very little to complain about! The outside space is very nice even if it doesn’t have the best aspect.

Friendly holiday cottage with excellent facilities

Great village location a short walk away from a good pub/restaurant (the Hollies), very clean and comfortable furnishings, very well equipped kitchen with generous welcome pack and drinks provided, friendly and obliging host with a positive and socially conscious approach to hospitality. Easy on-street car parking available at all times.

Shower and sink in the second bathroom were functional but a little on the compact size. However this certainly wouldn’t put me off staying again!

Loved how clean and well maintained this lovely cottage was with attention to detail in design, storage,recycling. A bonus to enjoy a sunny courtyard garden. Kitchen beautifully clean and well equipped, Dan has done a meticulous job.

Great location, great cosy place to stay, lovely patio area and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need along with two comfy beds both en-suite, will definitely stay again if working in the area again. Greeted with complimentary drinks and snacks.

Wonderful cottage in a gorgeous area.

Beautiful cottage. Has absolutely everything you would need. A real home from home. The luxurious towels were an added welcome bonus. As were the radios in each room. The owners are lovely and friendly too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Bower Hinton Beauty

Very clean and well equipped, even thought of leaving dog shampoo for sorting out muddy pups after long walks. The kitchen was clean and well organised with a very high standard of utensils and crockery.

T.V. reception in lounge is patchy. Reception on upstairs TV was good. Nothing else to improve upon.

Wonderful stay

The music barn was decorated to a high standard, it gave a really home from home feel. We loved our time here. Dan provided everything you need during your stay and more! Dan is a great host, he was always contactable, and extremely helpful when our shopping arrived early! The barn was clean and tidy, with very comfy beds. I love the ethos behind the barn, it made it feel very special knowing we are contributing to helping others.

Wonderful cottage, spotlessly clean with perfect decor. Every item there you would need and many extras too. Lovely thoughtful welcome gifts and thoughtful touches. Host,Dan was really friendly and there when and if needed. Definitely recommend, a gem of a find and great value for money Also loved how it is supporting charities.

Up market cottage let in Somerset village

Very high spec. accommodation with all mod cons & lots of little extras. Comfortable and warm. Very quiet location in an attractive Somerset village. Helpful host. Also it was especially nice to know we were supporting a local youth housing project by staying there! I've never experienced anything other than commercial lets on Booking.com before.
