I’ve travelled across multiple countries and many cities in India, and I’ve stayed at several homestays over the years. Without a doubt, this has been the best experience so far. The host family is incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was very comfortable, the property was easy to locate, and it’s perfectly situated close to major attractions as well as the railway station. What truly made this stay special was the hospitality. The hosts arranged beautiful boat rides, served some of the best food we’ve had on our travels, and went out of their way to make our trip memorable. Ani chettan personally accompanied us to the Dutch Church, showed us the sunset point, and the early morning boat ride was absolutely serene and unforgettable. Staying here genuinely felt like visiting a relative’s home rather than a place of accommodation. The warmth, care, and personal touch made the experience truly special. This stay was, without question, the highlight of our Munroe visit - and I couldn’t recommend it more. You should definitely visit them if you’re planning a Munroe trip.

I really love the kindness and smile of the owners, the wonderful boat excursion for sunrise with the owner, that you can buy coconut all the time, the traditional and homemade breakfast and dinner. They own a little shop where you can buy drinks and snacks which is very convenient. You can also rent a bike 🚲 I recommend to book the family room rather than the single room.

Mattress was uncomfortable (too hard for me) and fan was very loud but you can book the family room with AC
