Welcome to our exclusive Störtebeker vacation apartment on the top floor. The upscale amenities are designed to accommodate up to 6 people (4 adults + 2 small children).

The spacious living room, featuring a panoramic window front and a fireplace, invites you to relax and unwind. Let yourself be enchanted by the wonderful view of the idyllic Bodden landscape. Adjacent to the living room is the covered and sunny south-facing veranda (20 m²) with a comfortable seating area.
The apartment features 2 separate bedrooms, each with a double bed. In addition to the modern shower room, there is a second, romantic bathroom with a spacious bathtub. The high-quality kitchen adjoins the living area and offers plenty of space for dining or a fun game night.
You can truly relax on frosty days in our private sauna area on the property.
You can also spend warm vacation days in your own garden and round off the evening with a barbecue.

Welcome to Middelhagen on Rügen!

Our apartment buildings are located in the picturesque village of Middelhagen—founded by monks—not far from the unspoiled Baltic Sea beach, right on the Greifswald Bodden. Here you’ll find two exclusively furnished country houses with a sauna, a barbecue area, some with a fireplace, and a lovingly designed garden that offers a place for everyone to relax and unwind.

It’s only about 2 km to the kilometer-long, fine-sand beach on the Baltic Sea. The Mönchgut Peninsula is part of the UNESCO Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve, featuring magnificent, unspoiled nature. 

We offer eight modern and lovingly furnished vacation apartments (separate entrance, 48–91 square meters, 1 living room, 1–2 bedrooms, kitchenette, shower/tub/toilet, Wi-Fi, balcony or terrace with barbecue facilities, magnificent sea view of the Hagensche Wiek, parking, max. 4 adults and 2 children up to age 3).

The high-quality kitchens are equipped with an oven, microwave, ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, and, of course, plenty of dishes and glasses, a coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster. You can feel right at home even in winter—3 vacation apartments feature a fireplace. Both houses have underfloor heating for a comfortable living environment, and you can relax in your own sauna as often as you like. 

Upon arrival, the beds are made with linens, and fresh towels are provided. 

In Middelhagen, in addition to restaurants and cafés serving delicious local cuisine, you’ll also find interesting historical sites that tell the story of Rügen’s origins on the Mönchgut Peninsula. These include the School Museum, the oldest inn, “Zur Linde,” with its own brewery and coffee roastery, and the church, where music lovers can enjoy organ concerts. Cycling enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy thanks to the bike path located right in front of our house, which winds through the Mönchgut Biosphere Reserve.



Check-in is available from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00, and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
