Appartement très agréable

We received on the day of the arrival the instructions to enter the property and location of the lock box to retreive the keys, which was all very clear. Though the owner isn't very communicative, this was more than ample for us to find our way. Once in the appartment (3rd floor, no lift but wide staircase) it immediately smelled fresh and clean! It's a small appartment, but convenient and has almost everything at hand that you require. Something we really found missing were a towel to do dishes and a cloth to clean the tables and counter. The bed was good (typical 140cm wide bed as often found in France) and the bedroom is spacious enough. The downside we had is that the weather was hot at the time we were in Paris, so during the first night opted to have the bedroom window (street side) open. We barely slept that night: across the street there is a kebab place that is open late and tends to often boisterous and very loud people. This is no fault of the owner, but did make our experience less nice. When we opted to leave the window closed, the sounds wasn't an issue, but the heat became one. There is no airco or ventilator, so it become hot inside the room. It could do with a ventilator to make it more comfortable. Location wise: it's a 5min walk to a canal with very nice restaurants and Parc de la Vilette. A few min more brings you to a metro station. Overall: very nice appartment with almost all required amenities - but, be mindfull of the noisy location

Not a lot that I didn't like, but to summarize from the overall text: * If it is hot, there is no ventilator or airco available * Loud people on the street (when window of bedroom is left open) - but no fault of the owner

Only 5 minute walk from no.7 metro line. Apartment was clean and the host sent through a detailed video on how to find the key.

The apartment looks a lot more comfortable in the photos than in real life. Many of the homely decorations have been removed. The apartment also lacked some basic things such as hand soap, a kitchen towel and essential lightbulbs. It also came with only 1 mug and 1 toilet roll. The bathroom sink was blocked so drained extremely slowly. There is no internet in the apartment, so the huge smartTV is useless (even the free channels don't work).
