Spacious 1 Bedroom Flats by Banbury High Street

Great location. Hosts are very kind and responsive. I would book again.

main entrance door had a code as did the flat door. so it was easy to get in without hassle

the flat was a bit cold and the instructions to use the boiler were not clear, however we eventually we figured it out. We tied to contact the host but they didn't reply. Also the wi-fi was very patchy and slow within the flat and would not always connect in the evenings.

Lovely well equipped flat with everything I needed for a week’s stay whilst working In the area.

Sticky dirty wooden flooring, bad WiFi connection, fridge not working properly. Bathroom extractor fan wouldn’t turn off automatically after having a shower. Some of the light bulbs had blown.

A cleaner was sent upon our request.

We were sent a link to a video to show how to get in however it was a completely different apartment in the video. Upon arrival we found stains on all the upholstery, some of which were fresh. Next door was also a brothel with large numbers of men standing and talking loudly outside until 6AM meaning we couldn’t open the window if we wanted to sleep, with red lights shining through all the windows next door. This made me feel extremely unsafe and would not have stayed if I was not with my partner. Upon arrival we were also greeted with a man urinating up the wall to our apartment and many what appeared to be empty drug bags on the floor. It also appeared that the apartment had not been cleaned with food on the sofa, marks up the walls and dirty kitchen appliances which we felt was a bit rich after paying a £200 deposit and being told to sweep and hoover up after ourselves, the host did send a cleaner round after we made her aware of this as we understood this was not her fault however it was a nasty shock. There was also no wifi in the apartment and we were told to find the router in one of the cupboards downstairs and try and fix it ourselves. This weekend was booked as a birthday treat to get away from day to day life and all in all we felt extremely let down being left feeling unsafe in a filthy flat that did match the advert at all. We would ask for a full refund to compensate for the disappointment and misrepresentation.

Perfect accommodation for a short stay - located close to the train station and had everything I needed

It was on the second floor . The TV was not set up correctly. There were no batteries in one of the controllers. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom.

It was spacious, enough for 2 people

No parking on site. It was very warm, it would be great if a fan was available. The washing machine was not working and it definitely was not inspected a while as washing powder was already added to the compartment by previous customers
