Spacious 1 Bedroom Flats by Banbury High Street

I stayed here while working at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix and booked at the last minute. The original property didn’t include parking, so I messaged the host to ask if they could recommend somewhere safe to leave my car overnight. They were incredibly helpful and offered to upgrade me to a larger house nearby that included parking. The house was fantastic. It was spotless, incredibly spacious, and had four bedrooms all to myself. I had a small issue with the water temperature on the first night, but I let the host know and it was fixed straight away the next day. The only disappointing part was that, because I was there for work, I barely had the chance to enjoy such a beautiful property and mostly used it just to sleep. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The only minor downside was the communication via messages. I would have appreciated receiving the check-out instructions the day before, as I had been told I would. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The location is great, quiet street, parking couldn’t be easier.

Everything is modern and seems like a newly fitted kitchen & bathroom. Good facilities for a short or mid term stay. Location was great for us, very near train station

It was dirty - dust bunnies and stains on the floor and we even found a mouldy old towel in the washing machine. The hallway is also messy with a really dirty old carpet. It’s a shame because the flat is great and seems newly fitted. The bathroom was alright but the shower drain was blocked and wasn’t draining properly. It looked clean but I think the filter needed removed and the drain unblocked beneath that. The communication is extremely poor. The hosts don’t respond at all to any messages via booking.com and I was only able to get through to them via phone for an urgent issue. WiFi also didn’t work and the network didn’t even show up as an option most of the time.
