Good views and good location for short stay

The property was in a good location, had a nice view over sea point. Room had good temperature without feeling too hot

Room walls are very thin, we checked in later than normal check in time but still room was not ready. No towels, missing kettle, missing coffee. Also the drain in the bathroom had a bad smell due to lack of ventilation in the bathroom. One blind was broken and wouldn’t fully open. Cupboards doors falling apart. There is also a note in the lift telling visitors it’s their responsibility to check when the load shedding is, and if you get stuck in the lift then it is your responsibility to pay for the call out. Surely if you know a guess is coming, then you should be able to notify the guest of the load shedding times ?

It was convenient to the places I wanted to go, the price was okay .

My keycard was not working in the starting of the stay. Had to keep calling the receptionist for it to get fixed .

Worst experience, do not stay here.

1. No staff on duty most of the time. Got locked out the room for a few hours one day, then couldn't leave due to key no longer working. When I went to sort this out, I was given a number that goes to voicemail and told the receptionist will only start at 13h00 and I must just wait with no access. 2. Staff did not clean rooms properly. No new towels constantly, shower mats were removed and not replace. 3. Furniture in room damaged. 4. Aircon leaked and water flooded the room everyday. 5. Building is damaged, no lights in one section of staircase which was incredibly dangerous. Lights hanging out of ceiling in some areas. 6. Security not always on duty, stairwell left unlocked which was a security risk (especially when locked out room) or when alone. The access is just a boom gate to prevent cars, not people.

The accommodation was well located, and convenient for going out. The facilities were clean and comfy.

We had numerous difficulties with our room door and keys including difficulty locking, key card unable to open our door, and being locked out at night. Additionally, there was no handover between staff and we had to keep repeating ourselves to the staff. The receptionist was also never available during the day according to the times they were suppose to be.

The views from our bedroom were beautiful

The finishes on the apartment themselves needed to be fixed and replaced in some areas. Regular general up keep is all it needs. For example our sliding door lock didn’t work all the time leaving us paranoid when we left the building of the safety of us things.

Disappointing.

The security guard was very helpful, the view and cleanliness of the apartment.

Our key card wouldn’t open the door so we had to wait almost an hour late at night after an 11 hour flight before a maintenance worker had driven from his home to re-code the key card. The door didn’t work properly for our entire stay. The drain in the shower wasn’t working so the bathroom floor flooded every time we used the shower. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were old and flat. The soundproofing was extremely poor and one could hear every word of people’s conversations in the corridor late at night and early in the morning.

The room was not equipped with a chair or a table and Cadre went out of his way to find a chair and table and took it to my room. Thank you. The view is amazing,

The parking is really awkward. The kitchen is not well planned, microwave on the floor and if you reach the basin, you can't get into the fridge or vice versa. The toaster cable is very short. No accommodation should be without a chair in the room.

The ridiculous cleaning fee of R399 that was added after and separate to the R850 booking fee for one night.. The curtain was hanging half of the rail.. So what does that cleaning fee go for if the curtain can't even be hooked in by house keeping, and we had to do it ourselves to close the window..
