Modern Art Deco Cutie

The blinds didn’t raise, spiders in the pantry cupboard, the laundry was not clean and the dish drainer needs a tray as water ran off the marble bench onto the floor. Car parking was not possible and other guests also mentioned that they did not see the restrictions for a car access. Frankly the space is only fit for a motor bike. Getting access was not easy as we were not sent the code prior to arrival. Also the code is long and should be simplified.

Lovely unit, right across from the park and water. Easy to park on road. Very well fitted out. A lovely longish walk into town. Building is very attractive.

The door lock system was electronic. It did not work. Both myself and partner tried it. Not sure if it was the reflection from the sun, just like trying to read your phone in direct sunlight? Luckily the contact was very helpful and gave us the lockbox location. Much prefer using a key TBH. I guess a digital locking system works to give freedom for guests to come and go but I couldnt get it to work. I tried it when sun not on it, the numbers did appear but were very faint and moved around. I just couldnt deal with it! Also the location is right on the road so there is traffic noise.

It was a lovely place to stay, great location, although a bit out of town (we had a car - no problem) Comfortable bed and well catered for home. Worth a mention ....a train goes past twice a day (just over the back fence) We thought it was fun!!

The back door (where you enter the property) needs a number on the door....to make it clear that you are pumping the code in the correct keypad (as we found the keypad tricky!!!)

The location - across the road to the beach front park, comfortable bed, lots of hot water, Smart TV & fast Wifi. Good new crockery and new SMEG cooker.

Ground floor flat on busy main road means traffic noise from 5.30am - ear plugs needed. Old towels, no hand towels or facecloths provided, no condiments (salt & pepper) Superficially clean (I had specifically messaged in advance & received assurances it was cleaned thoroughly) but skirting boards, doors and inside cupboards were still very dirty. Old cutlery - tarnished and looked unhygienic.
