Lovely house! The balcony overlooking the harbour is a real treat, I sat there most days morning and night. It’s not obvious from the advert but there’s also a small yard outside the kitchen which gives access to the harbour too, and that was a real bonus for the dogs and for eating on. Beautiful and fun decor throughout. And the most generous delicious welcome package I’ve ever received, took days to eat it all ha.
We all loved all of it, can’t fault it really: but a washing machine would really finish it off as clothes get mucky fast on the beach days, and maybe the option of a mattress topper as I don’t sleep well on a firm mattress. Everyone else slept well.

Absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated with a unique balcony to the rear which gave us many hours of relaxation.
The kitchen was very well stocked, spotlessly clean and has a good range of appliances. We dined in the property most nights but it is also local to several pubs, restaurants and takeaway establishments.
Nothing, this charming cottage provided us with a haven of peace to allow a full disconnect from work.

The property was in a fabulous location easy access to walking around Amble . The Cottage was beautifully equipped and looked fresh and modern . The balcony was a superb sun trap and provided views across the estuary. The outside space was also good and dog friendly. The owner thoughtfully left a cake and scones which was a nice treat after a long journey.
We were very fortunate in having hot weather during our stay ,but we felt the bed was on the small side and the duvet was very warm making sleeping a bit uncomfortable. It was classed as a large double , but maybe as we are used to a super king we thought it was a bit small.
