Hill House Cashel

Breakfast was lovely and the staff were attentive and friendly. If we go back to Cashel, we would be very happy to stay there again. We just wish we had time to enjoy some of the complimentary whisky!

The shower water wasn't as hot as we would have liked - even though we set it to as hot as possible, it still was not where it could have been.

Location was ideal! Short walk to town and restaurants. 5 minute drive to the Rock of Cashel.

Breakfast was really nice.All food was very fresh.Lovely room and bed was very comfortable.

There was nothing we didn't like

The house was beautiful. The room spectacular with very comfortable bed, elegant sheets. The room itself was spacious and equipped with nice chairs. We had a room upstairs with a view of the Rock that was lit up at night. SInce it was raining and we didn't go see it at night it was nice to be able to look at it. It is a short walk to the Rock but quite an uphill walk back. We didn't do it in the morning because the person there said we had to check out on time.. see below. Breakfast was big and very tasty

I had read online how nice the hostess was so I was probably even more upset that I normally would have been for the host. FIrst of all we were the only ones at the hotel.. so that felt a bit odd. When we arrived the man ushered us around quickly and then left. In the morning, he gave us breakfast with minimal conversation.. no suggestions. The coffee machine was a bit complicated but he never told us how to use it. When we asked if we could go down to the Rock and come back and get our luggage..given no one was there.. he said no we had to check out on time. I honestly can say he was the least warm and welcoming person I met in our trip to Ireland.
