Sun-drenched apartment close to the city - perfect for long-term guests! Balcony elevator

We could not have been happier staying at Marianne's apartment. Don't let your first impression of the area mislead you. Marianne met us on arrival and provided us with all the information we needed, plus offered information about the area. We are on a twelve month holiday so staying in excellent value for money self catering accommodation is very important to us. This apartment has everything one needs and is spotlessly clean. Marianne has fitted out this apartment exceptionally well and everything is new. It is great to have a nice champagne glass to drink from, plus red and white wine glasses are supplied as well. The kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher nor a washing machine, but for two people you don't need them. There are ample cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery plus some condiments for you to use. The Laundromat is a five minute walk from the apartment (turn right at the corner and walk to the main road, cross the road and you will see the Laundromat). All the machines are in A1 condition and the staff are there to assist. Back to the apartment. There is ample parking in front of the building. The apartment is on the fourth floor with a lift for easy access. You don't need ear plugs to block out any noise during the night, because there isn't any, the quietest apartment we have stayed in so far. Both the bedroom and lounge room are huge, whilst the kitchen is cosy for two people. It is a pity we can't take Marianne's apartment with us as it is one of the best we have stayed in. Not far from the apartment you will find Aldi, Lidl plus a very up market grocery store which is open 24/7. All three are near each other, but keep in mind all shops are closed on a Sunday. If you like walking make sure you visit the harbour and shopping area, approximately 13 mintues from the apartment. (From the front of the building turn left walk to the main street, turn right and head straight down to the water) If you like eating out then you must try Pier 6 (situated near the harbour and again walking distance from the apartment). Certainly one of the best restaurants in Bremerhaven. If time allows call into the Immigration Museum near the harbour it is very interesting, but allow yourself s good two hours. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing holiday in Bremerhaven.
