About this cabin rental
Enjoy this peaceful little cabin located in scenic Little River Canyon. Just a 6 minute walk to Eberhart Point with hiking and swimming and a convenient drive to downtown Fort Payne, Mentone, Lake Weiss, Desoto State Park and more. At the cabin you can enjoy the private lake with great fishing, and a private dock with dining. The cabin has a large back deck with a gas grill, patio furniture, and dining table with the best views of the lake. On the back deck there is also an outdoor private shower(seasonal). To the side of the cabin is a fire pit with seating to roast some marshmallows or just sit by a cozy fire, along with a swing looking over the lake. Inside the cabin both bedrooms are king size beds with large closet space in both rooms. There is also an extra cot provided should it be needed. A large living room with a smart TV and lots of seating for social time. Kitchen comes complete with a stove and dishwasher, all kitchen dishwater and cookware, all of this just a door away from the back deck. Guest are welcome to explore the property around the lake. This is the perfect getaway!

We arrived after dark and were welcomed with well lighted landscape lights around the house. Inside the home was decorated with Christmas decor which just felt special!. Great deck overlooking pond, with several seating areas to hang out. Very clean and well furnished!

I was a bit concerned with the neighborhood. It was a bit rundown and construction was going on, but the house was great.The construction is a good sign that things are improving in that area. It was very welcoming and everything we needed was available. We especially liked the Christmas tree and decorations. Firewood was provided for the firepit, which we enjoyed. We thoroughly loved our little Christmas getaway.
