This delightful pet-friendly waterfront cottage nestled on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Moultonborough is so welcoming! The cozy lakeside gem offers a perfect retreat with its inviting level yard, ideal for outdoor activities and relaxation. Inside, you’ll find classic charm paired with modern comfort. The single-level Ambrose Cove cottage features two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a full, plus a pullout sofa to comfortably accommodate up to five guests. The cottage embraces a casual camp-style vibe, enhanced by fresh upholstery and bedding.
Step out onto the screen porch to take in peaceful lake views or stroll down to the natural shoreline for a refreshing dip in the clear waters. The private dock can accommodate up to a 27-foot boat, making it an excellent spot for boaters or simply to relax and watch the activity at the nearby marina.
Only 20 minutes from downtown Wolfeboro, you’ll have easy access to fantastic dining, shopping, and other Lakes Region attractions. Whether you're looking for a laid-back lakeside getaway or an adventure-filled escape, this cottage has it all!
A few important notes before booking. Please park in the driveway, there is absolutely no parking anywhere other than the driveway (one car behind the other) and trailer storage next to shed; no vehicles to the side of the driveway or past the boulders due to septic field; no washing of boats in the water or on land--this pertains to vehicles on the property as well. Campfires of any kind are NOT permitted anywhere on this property.
The woodstove is not operable and may not be used.
Allow Pets: Yes - There is a pet fee of $175 plus tax per pet, with a 2-pet maximum.

Great spot! We were really excited to stay on the lake and this place did not disappoint: easy access to beautiful lake winni, very dog friendly neighborhood for long walks and close to castle in the clouds for amazing hikes. The screened in porch was our favorite spot, you can enjoy the tranquility of the lake first thing in the am or into the evening, and the breeze off the lake is great. Plenty of room for our family of four (3 humans and one dog). We’re already looking forward to staying here next year.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming lakeside cottage! The location is absolutely idyllic—just steps from the water, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. One of our favorite features was the screened-in porch, perfect for morning coffee or evening wine without the bugs.The property is small and thoughtfully designed, with cozy furnishings that made it feel like a true home away from home. It technically sleeps five, but we can’t imagine having that many people in the space—it was just right for the two of us (plus our dogs, who loved it!).We really appreciated how clean and well-kept everything was on arrival. The hosts clearly care about the space, and it shows. Being dog-friendly was a huge plus, and the area was great for taking long walks and enjoying nature together.The only minor note is that we opted to buy bottled water, as we weren’t sure about the safety of the tap water. But that was a small detail in an otherwise perfect trip.If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable, and pet-friendly getaway on the lake, this place is a gem!
