3br Cottage in Lansing bordering the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve

This is a great little cottage just minutes from the New River visitor center. It is a very convenient location for activities around Fayetteville, being walking distance from the Endless Wall trailhead. It’s just a few minutes drive to Adventures On the Gorge, where we did our white water trip. The cottage has a queen master bed, a double in the second bedroom and four (two sets) bunk beds in the third. The rooms aren’t particularly big, so a completely full house would be crowded. But the beds were all clean and comfortable. There is only one bathroom though. The kitchen is fully stocked so cooking is feasible. There is seating for six at the large bar top table. We didn’t cook, but used this table for playing board games. The space was great for this. The living room is comfortable, though we didn’t use it much. There is a fire pit, though we had to buy some firewood at the grocery store in Fayetteville. The front porch is covered and a perfect place for a morning coffee. We saw many turkeys and deer every morning. Carri was a great host, responsive to all inquiries within the day. Overall it’s a great value and definitely one of the best options in the area.

Nice, cozy and quiet. Would stay here again. Enjoyed watching the deer in the field across the road.

If you're headed to New River Gorge, you should stay here. Close to everything New River related, exactly as advertised, quiet, safe, and comfortable. We couldn't be more satisfied! Thank you!!

We loved the porch and watching deer and turkeys. The couch was very comfy.
