My son and I stayed here for 1 night, and it was a very pleasant experience. The decor and quality of the furnishings were good, the house was quiet, and the location was good with an easy walk into town, given the tricky parking in the centre of Cork.
We loved the coffee roasters just a minute down the road for the morning kick-start!
We felt that the cost was a bit high which was disappointing, but I think this is the general case with Cork City.
We risked parking on the main street to begin with, as we had no parking permits, but we were advised that generally the authorities don't check.

Very convenient for a short stay and close to the centre of town. Host was lovely and house it kept beautifully.

Fern House is an absolutely lovely guest house very close to the centre of Cork, super convenient to walk down the hill to loads of restaurants. The house was beautifully decorated and clean; the common spaces were luxurious and spacious. The kitchen and facilities were well maintained and easy to use. Lucas was very helpful and warm! I would definitely stay here again, and recommend this guest house to friends and family!

Good communication from Lucas, easy check in. Comfy bed.
General surfaces dust free but carpet needs a vacuum. Plant on window sill dying so we watered it.
