The property itself was beautiful. Beautifully decorated, comfortable common areas, well equipped kitchen. Layout is kitchen, dining, living room, and toilet/wash in ground floor. 1st floor is two bedrooms and full bath (shower/toilet), 2nd floor is largest bedroom with a funny bathroom in that it’s only a shower and sink—no toilet. That’s where access to the rooftop terraces (yes, two beautiful rooftop terraces) are. Staff is SUPER responsive. Wissam was excellent.

The location is in the middle of the Medina, which is great, right through an ally by Restaurant Revês. But it is an ally with all that entails—cats (and the fish on the side that people leave for the cats), and the smell of cats. Essaouira is the city of cats and seagulls, so it is to be expected. Also, the windows of the house face the parallel street, and there is a club on that street—noise until 2am. If you’re cool with that, great, but be aware.

When it started raining, there was some rain inside the house but it didnt really bother. it hardly rains there I think :-)

Le fait d’avoir un extérieur en pleine médina d’essaouira

L'emplacement est parfaitement situé au coeur de la médina et le logement est bien equipé. Les chambre sont spacieuses et les lits confortables. La salle de bain avec les WC au 1er est très jolie. La communication avec Sophie, la propriétaire est parfaite.

Si vous venez en famille et que vous souhaitez un peu de calme le soir pour vous détendre de votre journée et dormir tranquillement alors fuyez le centre de la médina. C'est la fête jusqu'à tard dans la nuit avec musique à fond et les gens qui font le bazar dehors. Impossible de dormir. Prévoyez vos boules quies !!! Par contre si vous aimez sortir jusqu'à très tard alors ce ne sera pas dérangeant. Un parasol sur la terrasse serait un plus pour pouvoir profiter des transats. Un WC au niveau de la troisième chambre niveau 2 serait un plus.
