Lovely apartment in beautiful village of Lehon, just 20min walk from Dinan. Lehon boasts a historical abbey the remains of a castle, a boulangerie and a public swimming pool (with a slide)! The walk along the river Rance is also beautiful.
The property is spacious and has all of the appliances you would need. Lehon doesn’t really have a supermarket so need to plan ahead for meals. Whilst the Cafe next to the abbey is delightfully atmospheric, its menu isn’t very extensive. It’s a shame that the only restaurant (La Marmite de la Abbaye) closed a few years ago- otherwise would have offered excellent meal options.

The apartment is truly lovely, as is its location. Running options along the canal are great -- even much farther toward Rennes, or etc. Exploration is a must. We visited in Fall and saw manh birds (le martin pecheur ....blue and orange to make one giggle with glee, ha!).
The large bed was a bit soft [hard on backs] and short [though not super tall at 6 feet, what with large pillows, my husband's feet didn't fit; heehee]. Smaller, rectangular [and thinner!] pillows would have been lovely - even if just as an extra option.

Location and main room were fantastic. The hosts were lovely, although collecting the key involved telling them when we were going to arrive.
The beds were uncomfortable. We are of an age when a futon isn't great, and our son couldn't sleep in the second bedroom
