THe apartment is in a great location and is very comfortable and has very good facilities. It is also very secure with facial recognition to enter the building

Since there is a kitchen it would be good if there was a bread knife and a chef's knife for those who want to cook. Leaving the apartment is clumsy because of the fob arrangement for the doors to the parking. This could be easier.

De Waterkant is always a great place to stay in Cape Town. You can walk around the area easily and safely, you can walk to the CBD, you can walk to The V&A Waterfront, so it really is a wonderful place to base yourself for Cape Town. The building itself is well located (good supermarket across the street, lots of restaurants and bars close by). You have a fantastic view of Table Mountain from the patio too.

It was quite noisy. There is a sports bar directly beneath the apartment, so there is constant noise throughout the day and evening. I always travel with very good ear plugs, so it didn't bother me, but potential renters do need to be aware of that.

Loved the location and size

The security staff were extremely rude ! We could not use the lift in the morning and there was no access to the stairs, which is incredibly dangerous in a fire. We could not exit the parking, even though we had registered the vehicle and it allowed us in . Security were extremely rude in dealing with the issue and said it’s not their responsibility to let us out , even though they were the only ones with a key to the boom .
