Well appointed apartment, comfy bed, large bath towels

Balcony disappointing

Location was fabulous. A short stroll down a little hill to the main centre and beach. No stairs to access apartment. Apartment has windows in all three directions, either fronted by extensive balcony areas, or courtyard with plants so it has a very pleasant and private feel to it. Well appointed kitchen. Everything you need. Lovely views over the water. Bed linen, towels and parking spot were included. The apartment has a good air-conditioner to keep the unit very pleasant inside as required. Once booking process is complete the information from DiJonesHolidays was great, with timely messages with all pertinent details, and departure checklists etc, which made it a breeze to settle in and depart.

There is currently an apartment block construction site next door which the balcony faces. Once this building is complete there will likely be very little if any water views, even so it is still ideally located for a relaxing Terrigal staycation. Fortunately we were there over a long weekend so there was only one full day, and another morning of construction noise which impacted us, requiring us to keep the windows and doors shut to eliminate the noise, and we also went in and out of the apartment most of the day so it wasn’t a problem for us. I didn’t like that DiJonesHolidays forced us out of Booking.com and into their own portal requiring electronic photos of my credit card and Drivers License, and payment of a $1000 bond. Warnings on Booking.com tell you not to share these sensitive details outside of their system. I was very nervous about doing so in case it was a scam but it was legit, so once I was over that everything was great.
