Proche de la gare de Lausanne

Location suited us with the train station about 15 minutes walk. The apartment was clean and spacious with high ceilings as it is in an older building. Small galley kitchen and bathroom /toilet situated before the main living sleeping area. This apartment is on the 3 rd floor and is serviced by a lift/elevator. It is a corner apartment so there is 2 sets of windows which provides good light and cross ventilation.

Not sure how long this apartment has been on the Booking.Com rental list but I think a renewal of the kitchen crockery and cutlery would enhance a stay there. Also the bath towels need replacement as they were on the “thin” side. Bath sheets would be better. As we had planned on walking to the apartment from the train station we didn’t realise how steep some of the streets in Lausanne were. We followed a google maps which took us to the bottom of Chemin avenue which meant a long steep walk to the building. My tip would be to stay on Ave de la Gare until the crossroad of Folimont which brings you to the top end of Chemin with Number 4 only 15m walk down to the driveway and the front door of the lobby.

Quiet convenient location. Super walking location for trains and buses, town and lake. Airy (appreciate the fan in the heatwave) and bright with good blackout blinds.Super clean. Comfy bed and effective shower. Hand soap, shower gel and washing up.liquid 2as appreciated in a short stay location.

There was a lack.of information. The welcome pack was 3/4 side of emergency numbers and wifi code. This was our first time in Switzerland and arriving hot off the train in the evening anything to help orientate ourselves quickly would have been good. If you come by train, pick up some food essentials from the Co op at the station.Look up the hill- and on its brow you'll see traffic lights. The accomm is up there, tucked behind a synagogue on the right hand side.

Great location, balcony, good size, super friendly and helpful Property manager, who organised a special private storage for my bike!
