This is a bedsit flat in a tenement building 5-10 minutes walk from Lausanne Central station. The property comprises a small bathroom with a bath/shower, a small kitchenette (with a fridge, kettle, coffee machine and dishwasher), but the main room is a spacious bed/sitting room with a double bed, a sofa, a table and TV. There a long floor-ceiling windows and a balcony with outside seating. It is spacious and bright, and was a pleasant sunny space to spend time in. The property has good wifi which was connected to the TV. Bring your netflix account, because there was no terrestrial TV I could find. I liked the place and have booked again for a second visit later in the year.

I never saw any staff. I was instructed to ring another flat to collect the keys, but I got no answer and so checked the flat itself and found it unlocked with the key on the table. There were no instructions on leaving so I left the place as I found it. There is a laundry downstairs, but you pay CHF55 to use it, which seemed like a rip-off given I had paid to use the flat and its facilities. There were no simple accessories in the kitchen such as salt, cooking oil or dishwasher tablets. The "tumble-drier" in the listings is a typo for a hair-drier. The photos were not the same as the flat I was in, although they were very similar and gave a sense of what to expect. It made me think that the host had several flats within the property.
