Just a good location and size of the apartment.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The bathroom had visible mold, to the point that I had to shower wearing slippers to avoid stepping on it. In addition, there was a strong and unpleasant smell in the room, which made the stay very uncomfortable. When we informed the management about the condition of the apartment, we were told that it did not reflect the amount we paid. We therefore requested a small partial refund as compensation, but this was refused. The property later informed Booking that the room was in good condition, which did not match our experience at all. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this place, especially for guests who care about cleanliness, hygiene, and fair treatment.

The location. Nothing else.

General atmosphere, furniture, etc. Everything is a big run down. Markings on the wall and on the floor. Hasty repairs. And the choice / style of furniture is terrible. Two people can sleep but there’s only one chair, and the table / desk is too big. The kettle had an EU plug and therefore could not be used.

Accommodation just where you need to be!

It was located within walking distance of the city centre, albeit uphill but that is not the problem of the accommodation. The studio flat was clean, as were the towels, sheets etc. a small amount of toiletries provided which is helpful. A nice, small but functional, balcony overlooking the beautiful buildings along the street. Lovely hot water for a bath. Enough crockery, utensils and cooking equipment to enable someone to manage during their stay.

The kitchenette area was quite cramped, there were no plugs for either the kitchen or the bathroom sink so, water wasted especially when washing utensils etc. The quilt cover and bedding did not fit well. The lift to the apartment was very small for people with luggage. Quite noisy due to traffic and emergency vehicles travelling the main road, windows and shutters not enough to drown this out.

The was no Air conditioning present. The room was heating throughout our stay. We have to open the window. There was no one to take care of the garbage,towels get dirty and sticky. There was no door curtains which prevents privacy etc.

I personally would not go back there..

The building is nearby 2 metro stations which makes it convenient. The price was attractive - to extend that made me not read the reviews for the specific property as I assumed the quality and the experience will be the same (or similar) to the property which is based nearby Lausanne gare.

The facility is old, torn and the area - literally the corner where the building is, feels unsafe... not sure whether it is the actual building or the "area" as it is on a good street, between 2 metro stations (all good sides). It is very warm, the stand-alone AC does not make a big difference, the coffee machine is placed so that you need to move it to actually make coffee and the pot for the hot water does not fit into the electricity outlets (it is too thick). The floor and the bathroom did not feel so clean as well.

Near the metro, strong water pressure

The neighborhood was extremely noisy—sleep was nearly impossible. We stayed for three days, and each night there was loud music on the street and noise from cars, which is quite unusual for Switzerland. It was also uncomfortably hot, even with the fan running. So it is not a “hotel”, so it didn’t provide the standard travel cards for Lausanne. On top of that, it’s located in a hilly area, which made getting around a bit more challenging.

Bed too small for a couple...shower over bath not suitable for mature people...shower screen dodgy..leaked water onto floor ++ Little space at side of bidet for your leg! Water pressure also low so unusable. No draining board by kitchen sink. Bedside light not working. People smoking in hallways. Appeared to be home to single working men...lone women travellers should be aware. Totally inflexible changing dates, we had to cut our stay by a day... but because I was checked in, but no refund was forth coming, we lost a nights rent.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the accommodation I recently stayed at, which, unfortunately, was the worst experience I’ve ever had using Booking. From the moment I entered the room, I was met with a terrible odor, which completely affected my comfort during the entire stay. I made several complaints, expecting the issue to be resolved, but no effective action was taken throughout my time there. Honestly, I had hoped to leave with good memories, but the poor quality of the accommodation and service made that impossible. The amount I paid was quite high and clearly did not match the level of comfort and service that was promised. Therefore, I am formally requesting a refund, as the service provided was far below expectations. I look forward to your response and appropriate action. Sincerely,

The lack of air conditioning is terrible. The fan doesn't help. A large number of cockroaches. The administration tried to poison them, but to no avail. The refrigerator has not defrosted for a long time, as a consequence of this a large amount of ice in the freezer and it is not possible to close it. Very small shower cubicle and no soap in it. Poorly working drain in the washbasin. In general, apart from cleaning the room, there are no other activities to maintain the room in the right condition. I do not understand why, after all it is the prestige of the hotel.

Many guests were smoking inside. The curtains did not provide privacy, or block light. This meant that our East facing room would bake in the sun from 6AM onward. The room only had two pillows for the bed, and a single duvet without additional flat sheets. No hand soap was provided. The action to turn on the shower was almost impossible to use without standing outside the tub. I had to turn the shower on for my wife due to the tightness of the mechanism.

would not provide access code - insisted I had not provided documentations prior to my arrival (which I did)- during my train ride from Zurich airport to Lausanne refused to provide access code to the building - I kept sending them by phone pictures of my passport - arrived in Lausanne rail station still without the access code - an hour later the access code came by text perhaps having to deal with Poland is not the way to go
