Comfortable accommodation with a living room where you can sit and relax, but the place lacks character. Room 2 has a lovely view of the loch. The maintenance team responded very quickly to fix a broken lock.

However, we could very clearly hear the guests in the room above walking around. This seriously affected the quality of our sleep and was a major drawback of our room.

Amazing view of the sea, with very nice garden and environment. The house is much more beautiful than the picture. But it’s a little far away from everything in town. So not so convenient.

The walls are really thin.

Ok, the room overall was fine, but the view from the large private balcony was amazing!!!! This was a very big positive for us.

Location was a bit out of the way, especially in the rain, there was no staff on the property, no instructions for room heater, and the included ‘coffee’ was undrinkable.

Was centrally located to Portree with beautiful ocean views from the common space. We were also able to have laundry done same day - although this was contracted out and not provided by the property itself.

There was no staff onsite the entire stay. The woman who ran the laundry business was more helpful than the "staff" I called for additional information. The bathroom was clearly a closet that had been converted and was the smallest of all our stays in Scotland. The kitchen was marked as "staff use only" even though there was no staff on property... no breakfast provided or kitchen available for guest use. Didn't really feel like I got the value for this property, but maybe that's just how much it costs to stay on Skye during busy season.
