Great location, clean and comfortable

Some additional utensils and kitchen bits and pieces would be useful. E.g. additional cutting board and kitchen foil. No wine glasses (flutes provided tho)

Location was superb, so close to all the shops, restaurants and esplanade. The size of the apartment and balcony were excellent

The kitchen equipment was rather sparce and not very well equipped for self catering. The beds although lovely and clean with lovely linen were on the hard side , OK if you like a hard bed but pretty uncomfortable if you don't.

Aurora @ Cowes is a great space for a Phillip Island getaway. The location is unbeatable -- very short walking distance to central Cowes, the beach, and much more. The apartment is great -- very comfortable and very clean, and it offers a lot of good options. My family found the beds and couches very comfortable, and it was laid out in a great arrangement and felt very cosy. The hosts are attentive and reached out to us personally to ensure we were all settled and checked in. They even offered a bottle of wine and a deck of playing cards upon arrival, which was an incredibly amazing first impression! We would definitely consider staying here again next time we come to Phillip Island; there are so many places to choose from, but this apartment ticks so, so, so many boxes.

The only negative is that the apartment does let in a bit of outside and inter-apartment noise; the upstairs neighbours and the occasional passing truck will sometimes be your morning alarm clock.

Nice, tidy and clean apartment near the beach, cafes, supermarkets etc., with secure parking. Has everything you need in the apartment. Easy walk to beach.

The booking process with 3rd party agents. Wanted not only our drivers lic, ID, address and credit card details on their 3rd party page but also a $1,000 hold! The perfect set up for scammers! They would not allow us to call into their office to show our ID. Luckily booking.com and Lydia from RSS finally sorted it out. The apartment is older and has been mostly renovated, however the front door and most internal doors have patches on them which haven't been painted. Makes it look unkept.
