Comfortable stay
Great location. Easy parking. Clean and tidy accommodation.
There were a few things that need improving: only enough cutlery for 2 people (2 forks); the shower head and pipe needs replacing; toilet seat was loose; and no heating available during the day.

Thought I was being scammed
Nice large kitchen and living room with TV to spend time with family. House is mostly the same as the photos. There was plenty of space for parking our cars. Essentials of toilet paper, cheap shower gel and washing up liquid were provided.
At 15.30 on day of check in, while driving, we received a text from an unknown number asking us to share our card details so they could charge us for the property, and even tried to charge us more than the price booked on here. This made me worried that I was being scammed and caused a lot of stress and a delayed check in as we had to sort it out once arrived and were not given the code to enter the property until we had done as the texts asked. If this is the method we must pay by then it should be made clear in advance as I believed booking.com would be taking the money directly from my account in a secure manner and not trying to add additional charges that hadn't been mentioned before. The first day the boiler must have been off as there was no hot water at all from the taps which was inconvenient. I'd have appreciated some info about how to get the boiler/hot water working in advance. Be aware also that house rules said if you want to use the washing machine they'd charge you an extra £20, luckily we didn't need to use it.

Comfortable beds, lots of room, good location for university.
Fridge smelt awful, TV had no signal, garden overgrown and full of rubbish, noisy neighbours. Landlord aware but unavailable to put things right.

The house is very quiet and nice. The bedding is very good.
There's a lot of missing dishes. There's no platter, no salad bowl, only 3 plates… The lawn is not mowed and the backyard has various trash and garbage bags.
