About this cottage rental
Escape to our charming, yet spacious cottage nestled along the Severn River, just a stone's throw from Severn Falls Marina and the popular Waubic water-access restaurant. Ideal for families, friends, or couples looking for a peaceful getaway, this spacious cottage comfortably sleeps 8-10 guests and is dog-friendly!
Key Features:
- Main Floor: 3 cozy bedrooms, including a primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The middle bedroom grants access to a loft for extra sleeping or lounging space. A powder room is also conveniently located on this floor.
- Open Concept Living: The cottage boasts a large, fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, and a living room with a gas fireplace. Three oversized patio doors lead to a massive wrap-around deck, perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation. The deck features a BBQ area and a gas fire pit, perfect for hassle-free evening gatherings. The deck overlooks the beautiful river and is a great spot to boat watch during the day and stargaze at night!
- Loft Area: Accessible via the middle bedroom, ideal for additional sleeping space or a quiet retreat.
- Walkout Basement: Includes a rec room complete with a wood stove (for confident users in colder months), games, and a large sectional. The basement features the 4th bedroom and second full bathroom as well as the laundry room. The Muskoka room houses a relaxing hot tub, and leads to a second spacious deck with seating and steps down to the river.
- Outdoor Spaces: The property offers a fenced dog area, a second traditonal fire pit for cozy evenings, and steps down to the water (note: we no longer have a dock, swimming access remains available, the new dock will not be finished for summer 2025).
- Dog-Friendly: Bring along your furry friends to enjoy the fenced yard and serene surroundings. Please clean up after your dog both inside and out to make sure the cottage and grounds are fit for future guests to enjoy.
- Plenty of Amenities: All the essentials are provided—linens, kitchenware, towels, and more. Whether you’re visiting for a winter weekend or a summer escape, this cottage is perfect for all seasons, offering multiple indoor and outdoor hangout areas.

Our family had a most enjoyable stay. The cottage was large and well equipped with games and activities to occupy the teenagers and young one. Of note is the large, well outfitted kitchen.The deck is a great place to sit and enjoy the view and the gas fire pit!Thank you for the amazing stay!

Fantastic stay! Enjoyed the entire duration of the trip. Host was super helpful and promptly answered to all our queries. Property is also well maintained and interior is very nice providing a very good ambience. Plenty of bedrooms with enough sitting capacity for the entire party to spread out and enjoy the stay in peace. Did not experience any issues throughout the stay. Highly recommended!Thank you!

Great property. Nice amenities. Once the dock is finished will be perfect. Don’t be afraid to try the rope swing!! Only drawback is a fair bit of boat traffic but if that doesn’t bother you you’ll love it.

Owner was very helpful and responsive. Our stay was lovely, the cottage had everything you needed. The back deck was a perfect spot to sit with lots of chairs, shade and space for all. The inside was clean and tidy, with very comfortable beds. The water was warm , and was shallow enough to walk right in. Overall we highly enjoyed our stay.
