Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Pros - Clean modern condo and grounds. Nice pool. Close proximity to beach and restaurants. Washer and dryer were great! King size bed was comfy (although it was topped with a hot foam pad). Nice shower and towels. Microwave, dishwasher and stove worked well. Good TVs and internet reception.
Cons - Musty smell (overwhelming at entrance, but fades as you ascend higher in house) combined with cleaning agent. Living Room furniture needs replacing!! Cookware was poor. Plenty of knives, but no cutting board. Blender, but no lid.
I was most disappointed with the poor communication of property staff. We arrived 50 minutes early, but couldn't get in until exactly 4:00pm when the key code became active. The number provided for text messages wasn't answered until the next day. When we asked to extend our visit for 3 additional nights, they wanted $50 more per night than our original cost. I wonder if the owners appreciated getting nothing for those additional nights we requested, as they weren't booked by anyone else, instead of getting our original amount for asking to stay longer???? Oh well, lessons learned....

This was our 2nd time staying at KC's Hideout and it didn't disappoint. Walking distance to not only the beach but also some delicious food and shopping. Can't wait to continue making memories with my family at KC's Hideout!
