Town: Romanno Bridge near West Linton is a lovely, rural village settled between the historic cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, enjoying the stunning scenery of the Scottish Borders. The village offers a selection of eateries, as well as a convenience store, including The Pyet or Olde Toll Tea House, and there is also a local golf course where guests can try out a game or two. The village is nestled into lovely scenery, so visiting some of the local walks is a must, including Covenaters Grave, Little Sparta and Leadburn Community Gardens. Further from the village you will find Peebles, where there are riverside walks, shops, pubs and the historic Neidpath Castle and Tunnel. For a day spent in the city, head over to the incredible Edinburgh, where there is a fantastic selection of tasty eateries, pubs, bars, convenience stores and independent shops to browse at your leisure. Walk beside the sea at Granton Harbour and Newhaven Lighthouse, enjoying the sunshine at Portobello Beach, or learn more about local history and heritage at one of the museums available.
