Really fun, quirky place to stay. Super helpful and friendly staff.

Very unique set up, maybe a little bit over the top but has fun vibes. Bath in the room was great, free mini bar, we got our room upgraded, excellent service had take out delivery easily to our room. The mirrors on the ceiling were fun too.

Didn’t like the projectors in the room as they were not bright enough. No international channels available- ironically as it’s a movie themed hotel. They could atleast install DVD players and have DVDs to borrow. There’s only a very small window so felt a bit claustrophobic.

The hotel is very aesthetic and beautiful, which makes sense since many people in China like to take photos while on vacation. The room was great. The food at breakfast was fine. The hotel is centrally located, walking distance from West Lake and near a creative cocktail bar called Late Market.

The overall service was very underwhelming. I had requested ahead of time to be able to check in early, and was told in writing it would not be a problem. When I showed up, they pretended that they had not agreed to it and told me it would not be possible. I had requested a second floor room, and we were placed on the first floor. Overall, the whole experience at the hotel was strange. They had different cards for power in the room and the door, which I saw confused many other guests (people kept locking themselves out). I saw other guests complaining about various issues. My opinion is that at a hotel of this high price point, and a relatively expensive hotel for Hangzhou, an early check in and other issues like that should be easily accomodated.
