The owner was very nice helpful and welcoming. The property was equipped with everything you need, even things you didn’t know you didn’t need. It was nicely cleaned and tidied, great area and close to train station and downtown. The free espresso machine and welcoming water bottles and towels were a very nice gesture, in addition to a washer, hot water and many cleaning products.

The price was high considering a one night stay, I believe that prices should be less, not necessarily speaking about the apartment we rented, but the prices overall. (This apartment was one of the best affordable accommodations, and was of a great value.

The area around the apartment is very nice and feels safe at night. Two bus stations are very close by and you can walk to the train station. The apartment is spacious with a bedroom and one living room. All is very nicely furnished. Kitchen has all the basics you need to cook a meal. There is even a freezer. Shops and stores are all nearby. The owners are very nice and responded to all our questions (via Booking) promptly and helpful.

What we did not like, was the noise: The apartment is close to the airport and starting from 6am until 10pm you hear the plane arriving and departing. Even with windows closed, it is very loud. Since the apartment door does not close fully, you also hear the noise from the stairs and see the light if the neighbors forget to switch it off. The second biggest issue was parts of the apartment were unkempt: Dusty furniture and all glass areas (glass tables, shower wall) were very sloppily cleaned showing greasy streaks. Some floor boards were broken where you could hurt your foot. The apartment as a whole could need a thorough cleaning. The bed is very big but it is a French double bet with only one big blanket for two. The kitchen is too small to sit there comfortably with more than one person. (We ate in the living room, sitting on the sofa.)
