Artsy, authentic hotel. I liked peaceful inner yard and lobby with the view of the canal very much.
No coffee machine or a simple posibility to make coffee or tea yourself in the room. To have some dishes would be great too.

The historic Venetian decor and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Always on hand to help and assist. It was close to the boat stop for the airport so it was very easy to return and a short straightforward walk for Venice. They gave me a room with a view of the canal and were very welcoming carrying my suitcase to my room etc.
The sheets could have been higher quality cotton - I think they were a mix of cotton and polyester. Also I appreciated the morning coffee and croissant but the coffee was instant and not from an expresso machine. One is so spoilt for quality coffee in Italy so I expected proper Italian coffee and not instant.

Beautiful building full of character and history located centrally. The canalside door added to the Venetian experience. The personal welcome and care was lovely without being overbearing.
