We loved everything about Palazzo Maria Formosa. The hotel is beautiful with so much history. Quirky in places which adds to the charm and tells a story. Staff are brilliant. Very attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. Our room was gorgeous and with a view of the square. They have their own dock for the taxi to drop and pick you up. Breakfast is great. It’s is Al a Carte and they will make you almost anything you fancy. Will we be back? Most definitely. It’s a special place. Thank you for making our trip special.

The hotel breakfast, however, was a disappointment - over-hyped poor quality food (there was egg shell in my frittata on the second day - when I pointed this out to the wait staff, she had no reaction). Needs improvement.

The property is new and well designed. The breakfast is on the highest level i have experienced. The staff go beyond their call of duty and make everything possible. Cocktails at the bar with the chief bar tender is a must.
