The apartment was clean and well presented. Kettle, cafetiere, toaster and microwave were all present. There is a sofa bed in the lounge as well, so a family of 4 can easily stay. There are cafes and restaurants around and the local train, tram and bus station for services into Paris itself is a 10 minute walk away.
The access to the apartment is a bit off-putting at first sight, passing behind a Mexican restaurant and the stair well is decidedly tatty, but it's a very old building and the apartment proved that you can't judge a book by its cover.
