Apartments Villa Sirena 2

The host of the apartment is very nice and helpful

Lovely stay at Apartments Villa Sirena 2, most comfortable bed we have stayed on throughout all our recent travels in Europe. Well equipped kitchen, has everything you need to cook a good meal! Host was lovely and provided us with recommendations and tips for getting into Dubrovnik Old Town. About a 25 minute bus ride into the Old Town (bus 16- very busy) make sure you get tickets in town or at ticket seller as they don’t accept cash/ card on the bus. Apartment is a 5 minute walk from the beach.

To access property you need to complete stairs so not appropriate if you have mobility issues. Also due to the storm the next door apartment were smoking in the shared doorway which meant we could smell the cigarette smoke from inside the apartment - which wasn’t very nice but not a major issue as when they smoked outside we couldn’t smell anything.

The location is very convenient. There is a supermarket just a 3-minute walk away that is open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. It is also easy to get an Uber, and the Bus 6 stop is nearby. The facilities are excellent. The shower has strong water pressure, which was incredibly refreshing after a long, hot day and helped wash away the fatigue. Most importantly, the hosts are wonderful. Goran and Dragana are both extremely kind and welcoming. On my first day, I arrived with a large suitcase, and Goran kindly helped me carry it downstairs. He even offered me a towel in case I wanted to visit the beach. Unfortunately, I was attending a conference and did not have the opportunity to go, but I truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture. In addition, Dragana generously helped me iron my dress before my conference presentation. She did a perfect job, and it gave me an extra boost of confidence for my talk. So, Dragana, thank you for contributing to my career as well! 😉 Overall, I highly recommend this apartment and would happily stay here again.

Owners were very kind and helpful, and the room was in great shape.

The bed was a little harder than I am used to, not super comfortable.
