Are you looking for a break from everyday life, free from time pressures and stress? Then our quiet yet very centrally located apartments here at Bergnest-Oetztal are just the place for you. The Stuibenfall—"Tyrol’s largest waterfall"—the swimming lake, the Ötzidorf, and the Bird of Prey Park are all right nearby. Many hiking, mountaineering, and biking tours can be started right from the house. The free cross-country skiing and ski bus will take you to the top destinations in the Ötztal. The town center, with its restaurants, bakery, shops, and bus stop, is within walking distance.

If you’re looking for a break from the daily grind, lace up your hiking boots and head up the mountain. The world looks completely different from up there, and the clear, fresh mountain air will give you a new burst of energy. Is walking too slow for you? Then hop on your bike and explore the Ötztal on two wheels. There are wonderful cycling and mountain biking trails throughout the entire valley. If you’re looking for more of an adrenaline rush, you can test your limits with downhill biking at the Bike Republic in Sölden. For our younger guests, there’s an easy bike trail to explore in Umhausen.
Prefer a refreshing dip in the cool water? Then visit the swimming lake in Umhausen, but first, don’t miss Tyrol’s highest waterfall, the Stuibenfall. Afterward, you can refresh yourself at the Kneipp facility. Still not had enough? Then you simply must see and experience the natural gem that is Lake Piburg. If the weather isn’t cooperating, you can relax at the Aqua Dome, the thermal spa in Längenfeld.
Don’t feel like something active? Then follow in Ötzi’s footsteps at the Ötzi Village in Umhausen. Or stop by the Bird of Prey Park to watch the eagles and falcons soar. If you’d like to learn more about the area, pay a visit to the Ötztal Local History and Open-Air Museum, the Tower Museum, or the Nature Park Center.
