Bad Zwischenahn and Oldenburg are nearby, and the region offers plenty of adventures. A highlight is the 178-km-long Deutsche Fehnroute, which is perfect for bike rides or road trips.

Trips to the North Sea and the North Sea islands are also easily accessible. You can reach the ferry terminal to Langeoog in under 50 minutes, and popular towns like Dangast, Pilsum, and Greetsiel are also nearby.
