Clean and comfortable stay in the centre of Magome. Simple and unpretentious atmosphere with two lovely and extremely helpful hosts who spoke good English. The curry we had there for dinner was delicious also. The bathrooms were shared but there are enough so there was little queuing.

Stylish, functional, inviting in a good location

We had a wonderful nights stay after a long hot day walking The Nakasendo . The owners were very kind and helpful and offered a lot of advice with restaurant recommendations and tips for travel for the next part of our holiday . The meals were lovely and great value for excellent quality produce. The breakfast was perfect to fuel up with healthy fresh food before another day of walking. The accomodation is very clean , a lovely renovation of an old traditional building . The futon bed and lovely linens were very comfortable .

Everything was lovely

Ken & Yuki were delightful, accommodating hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure our stay was a memorable one with both of them making suggestions on what we could achieve after a few questions on what our interests were. Their local knowledge was extremely helpful. The bed was very comfortable with a pillow i melted into, to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. The breakfast and dinner were more than enough and very nicely made with local produce. The room and amenities were very clean. The location is towards the upper section of the beautiful cobble pathway with a lovely scenic view and easy access to start of the Kiso valley track.
