Sylvan Park offers a blend of residential tranquility and vibrant city life. Located just one mile from Vanderbilt University and two miles from the lively energy of Broadway, Bridgestone Arena, The Ryman, and Nissan Stadium, you're never far from the heart of the action.
Sylvan Park itself is a thriving local community known for its inviting atmosphere, with a variety of locally-owned restaurants, cozy coffee shops, and laid-back bars. Welcome to Vandy Haven, a stylish one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment filled with plenty of Vanderbilt spirit. The kitchen showcases custom Vanderbilt Commodore wallpaper, complemented by handsome black cabinets and gold accents. In the bedroom, you'll find two queen beds, sound and light-reducing curtains, and a ceiling fan for a peaceful night's rest. The bathroom features a tub/shower combo for relaxation or a quick refresh. Enjoy meals in the chic dining area, and unwind in the bright living room with a sofa that converts to a full-size bed. Step outside to a community space with Adirondack chairs, café lighting, and beautiful landscaping. The Richland Greenway, just at the end of the street, offers an easy bike ride to Vanderbilt or a scenic walk to Centennial Park.
Please note, a train runs behind the apartment complex and you may hear it during your stay. It’s a short freight train that goes from Memphis to Nashville, but it operates irregularly. Sometimes it doesn’t run at all, and other times it runs a few times a day. The train doesn’t blow its horn near our building, so it’s just background noise as it passes by. The train is not visible due to the vegetation between the tracks and the building. Sound and light-reducing curtains as well as a sound machine are provided to minimize any disturbance.
Stairs are required to access the apartment on the 2nd floor.

Really awesome neighborhood and (besides the train) a very peaceful stay!! The apartment is very clean, neat and perfect for a weekend getaway. Close to pretty much everything and the host was great!
