About this house rental
The clean whites and grays of the condo interior mimic the colors of a sea gull. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed for both the foodie who loves to cook and the guest who is heating up leftovers from one of the many local restaurants, most of which are within 1/2 of a mile. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a sofa bed in the living room, so the unit can sleep 6. There is a full bathroom with a shower in the primary bedroom, and the full bath off of the living room has a tub/shower enclosure.
The beach is literally just steps away. Step out on the porch, go to the end of Money Island Drive (150ft), turn west (right) on Glenn Street, go another 50' and the state beach access is right there. The beach is wide and inviting, with white sand and teal water that evokes scenes from the Caribbean.
Units "Uptown" and "Downtown" (upstairs and downstairs respectively) share a ground floor charcoal grill and an open outdoor shower for rinsing off sand. Pet friendly!
NOTE: Airbnb shows "Entire home in Atlantic Beach." What they mean is you are renting the entire condo, not a room in someone's house, which is how that company started. Again, this is only the downstairs unit. You MAY be able to rent both together, but there is no internal staircase to connect them, only the outside stairs.

The Downtown unit at Waves Edges is a great place to stay for an Atlantic Beach Vacation. The unit has a roomy kitchen, nice appliances and 2 bedrooms with good size closets and comfortable queen size beds. The chair and couch in the living room are also very comfortable. It's location is perfect - close to the beach access walk and just down the street from several nice restaurants - including Island Grille right next door. Don't hesitate to book it!
