About this house rental
La Tourelle is a farmhouse dating from 1676, completely renovated, which offers an area of 320 m² and can accommodate up to 13 people (ideal for 6 adults and 7 children). It is composed of a pretty living room of 40 m² (with fireplace), equipped kitchen, three beautiful double bedrooms and a dormitory, three bathrooms (with shower and bathtub) and you can enjoy a garden of about 3,000 m². Wifi (fiber optic), sheets and towels included, we are waiting for you!
The accommodations are arranged as follows: it has one floor and is divided into several spaces for your comfort
- The 40 m² living room, equipped with sofas and armchairs, TV, is decorated with a large period fireplace which creates a warm and authentic atmosphere.
- The dining room, equipped with a 3-meter-long farmhouse table and a church pew, can accommodate up to 12 guests with antique crockery, adding a unique charm to meals.
- The spacious and light-filled kitchen is equipped with a central island and many appliances, creating a convivial space. It includes an electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster and dishwasher.
- One bedroom with a queen-size bed (160×200)
- A second bedroom with a queen-size bed (160×200)
- A third bedroom with a queen-size bed (160×200)
- A dormitory with 7 single beds
- A bathroom with bathtub and shower

- Three separate toilets
- A games room, a TV lounge and a laundry room complete the interior spaces.

Outside:
- The 3000 m² enclosed garden, entirely planted with trees, will delight children with its swing, trampoline, ping-pong table and badminton court. Meanwhile, parents can relax in the deckchairs or enjoy an aperitif around the brazier. After a barbecue or plancha lunch in the shade of the cedar tree, a nap under the cherry tree and fruit trees is a must.
The house is located in the peaceful village of Garancières-en-Drouais, offering exceptional tranquility with its 300 inhabitants. This haven of calm is however only 7 minutes from the shops and 10 minutes from the historic town of Dreux. A pond is 300 meters from the house and it is possible to offer you walking and jogging routes according to your preferences.
Activities:
The city of Dreux is charming and well worth a visit. You will also be close to the Château d'Anet, the Thoiry Zoo and the Chartres Cathedral. In addition, Garancières opens the door to the Perche region, offering other interesting discoveries
Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you have the option to park in front of the property (for one vehicle) or along the adjacent street. A large free public parking lot is also 100 meters from the house.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful to you:
- Only 1 hour from Paris. Garancières is 10 minutes from Dreux train station, which offers more than 10 trains a day from Montparnasse station in Paris.
