My mom, me and two kids had a great stay at the Guest House!
The pool was refreshing and deep. The horses in the field next door came and said hi!
The beds were comfortable and it was nice for the kids to have their own space in the basement.
There were a few things that could be improved. The kitchen had coffee, paper towels and soap, but was missing a lot of the basic things that most vacation rentals have- sponges, large bowls, plastic wrap, foil, seasonings etc. There were also only 4 flimsy forks so it made it harder to cook and we had to go out and get a bunch of things. If we had known, I could have brought them. Also, a few of the cabinets were loose (which I forgot to tell the management about!).
The TVs are very small - especially in the living room which was hard when we were trying to watch a movie.
The pool was great, but the furniture could definitely use an upgrade.
We were unable to use the grill because it was so dirty- I did let the owners know and they it would be fixed. The screened in porch where the grill is kept would be perfect if one of the screen doors was not open completely. That allowed all the bugs in without giving them an easy way out. But we did spend some time in there and it was nice. That area could also use a slight refresh
The only other thing was that we were asked to take our trash to one of two places to dump it. Both of which seem to be up the mountain. There is a trashcan there, so I am not sure why we can’t leave our trash since the cleaning crew is on the way. Going out of our way with smelly trash wasn’t great.
Overall, we would definitely go back to the house. I will just know to bring kitchen supplies, and some pop up chairs for the fire pit. It is a great location and the pool/hot tub is fantastic for just hanging out with family!

We really loved the location. It was so beautiful and peaceful. My grandson's loved the horses that came to visit.
