SOUTH RIVER GUEST HOUSE
The perfect place for a medium to large family getaway!
South River Guest House is located in the South River Valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just minutes from Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, VA. The entire Guest House has been freshly renovated, refurnished and expanded while maintaining its original country charm.
South River Guest House has a full width front porch with bench swing and rocking chairs looking out over the pasture to the South River to compliment incredible mountain views from nearly every window.
This property features four bedrooms and four baths:
• First floor bedroom with ensuite; king bed
• Second floor south-side bedroom with ensuite: queen bed
• Second floor north-side bedroom with ensuite: queen bed
• Second floor north-side bedroom: 2 twin beds
We have expanded the family room to include the large kitchen and a formal dining room!
• Kitchen features a breakfast bar island & granite counters, gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, dishwasher, & French door refrigerator over freezer drawer
• Formal dining room next to Great Room; seats eight; outstanding view of the mountains
• Great Room contains couch, love seat, arm chair, sitting area near window, 60" flat screen Dish TV - online streaming services available
The Guest House also features:
• Side by side washer/dryer units in utility room off of the kitchen
• Free Wi-Fi access, contact hosts for password
• Plenty of towels, bed sheets, soap, and toilet paper
• Safety equipment including a fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and a first aid kit
South River Guest House is attached to the owners' main house but is separated by a locked connecting hallway. It is a complete home unto itself with its own entrances. We totally respect your privacy but will always be available for your questions or conversation about things to do in the area.

What a gem. We stayed here to attend a wedding at Barn at Edgewood. It was an easy commute there and back several times a day. Two families of 4 fit comfortably with plenty of room. Farm house is clean and adorable, views and grounds are post card worthy. Our host Oliver the puppy came to visit several times and our teens were in love with him. We will be back to refill our soul here again.

The house is was perfect for our stay, close enough to Charlottesville but country vibes. Our little ones enjoyed playing outdoors and we all loved the scenery! Comfortable beds and lots of bathrooms!

South River Guest House was the perfect escape from the city. The owner was very responsive to messages before hand, and was immediately accessible during our stay. The property itself is incredible, with a long country driveway, pastures of grazing cows (the baby cows are sure to be a fan favorite), and beautiful mountain views from the house. Inside, the house looks recently renovated, and was spotless. Nice large kitchen, dining room that easily fits 8+, oversized fluffy couch in front of a high end tv. We only used the downstairs bedroom, but it was just right, with a very comfortable king size mattress, and an en-suite bathroom. This place is fantastic. We look forward to coming back in the future.
