Island Surf 402- Oceanview 1 bedroom Kihei gem, walk to everything

The apartment is clearly well maintained, nice appliances, nice decor, clean bedding and well furnished kitchen. The location is amazing, specially if you like to surf / paddleboard. There is a rental place across the street, and the beach is also right there. It is close to shops and restaurants, including Paia Fish Market.

We were there for a long stay (2+ weeks), and had problems initially getting the washer to work, until we realized the hot water was not working and we needed to set it to use "tap cold" water. We've notified management, but it took them over a day to respond. We also had a small issue getting the parking permit. Management kept telling me "it was there", but it clearly was not. It took them so long to address it, I just tracked down a guy who worked building maintenance to print one out for me. Overall the most lacking thing is prompt communication with the rental management. They insist on using the Booking messaging platform which is awful, and their phone number is always on voice mail. They are very friendly, but quite inefficient.
